The truth is you still have plenty of options. You can stay informed, up-to-date, and compliant without paying hefty association dues.

Florida Realtors YouTube Channel
This is one of the most helpful free resources available. Joanna and the team break down new forms, law updates, and industry changes in an easy-to-digest format. Following this channel ensures you’re never left behind.
Social Media Pages & Industry Updates
Following state-level real estate accounts and credible voices in the industry on social media helps you stay on top of trends, law changes, and forms without paying for association membership.
Eventbrite Seminars & Masterclass CFL
Eventbrite often features free or low-cost real estate events. For example, Masterclass CFL hosts in-person sessions at the Maitland Civic Center on Lake Lily, with topics ranging from luxury real estate conversations (coming up September 18) to social media strategies (a past June event).
You still need your CE hours—but you don’t need association membership to get them. While there are many options out there, here are three of my top recommendations that I can vouch for:
A flexible online option with frequent discounts. Many agents choose Colibri for both licensing and CE courses.
Known for a wide range of course packages and easy-to-use online learning.
A well-established Florida school offering CE programs with both online and in-person formats.
These are just a few options, but my top three suggestions. There are plenty of other providers out there, so feel free to do your own research and choose the one that fits your needs best.

Choosing a non-association brokerage doesn’t mean giving up education or growth opportunities. Between free YouTube resources, industry events, and flexible CE providers, you can stay fully compliant and ahead of the curve without ever paying for association dues again.
